PARISH SNIPPETS The burnt door at St Joseph’s has finally been replaced!! The exterior will be painted soon to match the existing doors, and the interior portion will be varnished to let the beauty of the woodgrain shine through . The old side fence, over at the Old Convent (facing the Woolworth’s carpark), which was blown down during one of our storms, has been replaced and erected. Joey’s Playgroup have notified us that they will resume meeting at the OLB Parish Hall on 21 July. They have chosen Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays between 9.30-11.30am as their designated days. The gardens at OLB are looking a treat. Greg Smith has been hard at work, pruning and cutting back. (Looks like there is only the roses to go.) Please get in touch if you would like to give him a hand out there. It’s a huge garden.
